The Benzo Law way is a direct reflection on its founder, Tracee R. Benzo. Tracee was born to a family of textile workers and sharecroppers in South Carolina. When Tracee reached high school, she lost two close cousins in a horrible car accident that nearly took a third cousin. She watched as her less educated, working class family struggled with the intricacies of the legal system while fighting for justice and compensation. She realized then that her mission was to educate and advocate for the injured. She wanted to ensure that others never had to feel as helpless as her family did in their time of need. Tracee worked tirelessly from that point forward, becoming the first in her family to attend and graduate from college, with honors no less. She hit the ground running, taking a job as a paralegal while attending law school at night. She worked her way up through the ranks, graduated law school at the top of her class, took the Bar and eventually became a senior partner at the very firm where she started. From there, Tracee built her brand and her reputation. Now, she is doing things her way at Benzo Law. She brings with her all of the knowledge, experience, determination and passion that drove her to excel. This story is what shaped the Benzo Law culture.
