If Benzo Means Business, Paula Taylor is a driving force at Benzo Law with 29 years of experience to her credit, and a compassionate, no-nonsense approach. A former receptionist, turned legal assistant, turned paralegal for a personal injury and real estate firm: she learned the business from the phones up. Paula grew from each task at every level, engaged in lots of discovery and research, while also completing the Paralegal Studies program at Trident Technical College where she earned her paralegal certificate in 1994.
Paula was drawn to Benzo Law Firm because of its dedication to helping injured workers and their families. She especially recognized the importance of the firm’s reputation for delivering proven results for the injured people of Georgia.
To Paula, the best part of her job is educating the clients. She firmly believes the clients should know the proper steps and why they must execute them. When a client is told they should go to the doctor, she tells them why they’re going.
No matter what job she pursues, she is passionate and disciplined. Paula and her family owned a well-known seafood restaurant, Manigault Seafood in Charleston, SC in 2000 while she simultaneously worked full-time as a paralegal. She’s passed along the same spirit of dedication and discipline to her two lovely daughters who are passionately pursuing their own careers.
Paula volunteers her time with the Trident Literacy Association and Reading Partners. She is a member of the South Carolina Paralegal Association.
